ReceiptHub (“we”, “us”) is a small, independent project run by Sluggish-Dev. This page explains what data the site processes for each service, what it stores, and how third-party services like Google Analytics and Google AdSense use cookies here.
GitHub requires signing in with GitHub — there’s no handle to type in. Signing in requests read access to your account, including private repositories, so the receipt can reflect your own commits, pull requests, issues, stars, repositories, followers, and languages — including private activity, since that access is what sign-in is for. We never see or store your GitHub access token beyond what’s needed to serve that request, and it never reaches your browser. Nobody else’s private data is ever visible, and no other GitHub account’s stats can be looked up through this tool.
Chess.com and Lichess.org are the opposite: when you type a public handle and print a receipt, that handle is sent to our server, which queries that platform’s public API for that player’s public stats (ratings, wins, losses, draws, and puzzle activity) and returns it to your browser to render. No sign-in is required, and no account is needed on either platform.
Last.fm works like GitHub: connecting your account sends you to Last.fm’s own sign-in page, and once you approve access we receive your username and a connection key so we can look up your own listening stats. We never see your Last.fm password, and neither the username nor the connection key are stored anywhere beyond your browser’s session.
Steam also uses its own sign-in page. Signing in only verifies which Steam account is yours; it does not grant us any extra access beyond what your account’s own Steam privacy settings already make public. We never see your Steam password, and we don’t store your Steam ID anywhere beyond your browser’s session.
Across every service, we do not create ReceiptHub accounts and do not store the handles or accounts people look up anywhere — each request is handled and discarded.
If you use the Download PNG or PDF buttons, the image/PDF is generated entirely in your own browser and saved to your device — it is never uploaded to or stored on our servers.
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic to this site — things like page views, approximate location, device type, and referral source. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We don’t combine this data with anything that identifies you personally, and we don’t tie it to the accounts or handles you look up.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or manage your ad personalization preferences directly at Google Ads Settings.
This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info/choices. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
We don’t operate a database for this site. Nothing you type into the username field is persisted after your request completes.
ReceiptHub is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Because we don’t store personal data beyond what third-party analytics/ad providers collect on their own systems, there’s little for us to access, export, or delete on our end.
